Sometimes it pays to be an educator

This past Saturday was educator day at the zoo, which equaled a free day for me, Justin, and Ally to go to the zoo. The weather was awesome and it we had a great time. Ally did great by just cruising in her stroller checking everything out. I think she liked all of the other kids more than any animal we saw. I am afraid I am raising a people watcher. She loves to stare at people and sometimes she will even sing at them if they don't look at her. She had a great time and it was even better for us b/c it was free for everyone :). Munch, munch, munch

Well, we are raising a munching machine these days. Allyson is eating and loving almost everything she can put her hands on. We took her off of baby food a few weeks ago and she has not looked back once. They started giving her more food at day care and she was eating it up, so we thought what the heck lets go with it. Let me just tell you that she eats better at day care than she does here. I know bad parents, but at least she is getting a good breakfast and lunch. Today she had fruit and yogurt for breakfast and then chicken teriyaki, brown rice, carrots, and pears for lunch. And guess what.... she ate all of it!!! Some other things she loves at day care are; peas, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, cinnamon toast, tomato soup, noodles, and pretty much everything they give her. We have found one thing she doesn't like though, eggs. She is not a fan and she will let you know that she doesn't like it. It is pretty funny! I have attached a picture of her eating blueberries. Yes, she did love these too!!
